EVHUBUK / NETWORK FIELD GUIDE
Start in the
right place.
Four specialist publications. One independent network. Find useful free help, ask a question with the right context, or help us correct something that has changed.

01 / FIND YOUR ROUTE
The question decides
the destination.
Own one car but shopping for another? Use the marque publication for the car you have, then EVDeal for the buying comparison. EVHubUK is the network and commercial contact point; the specialist publications hold the owner help.
02 / MAKE IT ANSWERABLE
A little context beats
a long guess.
Before asking about a vehicle issue, write down the details that distinguish your car from a similar-looking model. Keep personal identifiers out of public posts.
- Identify the car: UK model, model year, trim and battery variant if known. Registration year alone may not identify the specification.
- Record the conditions: what you tried, what happened, the exact message and when it started. Include software version when the question concerns a menu or update.
- For charging: home or public, AC or DC, charger name/model, starting charge level and any schedule set in the car, charger or tariff app. Record settings before changing them.
- For a cost comparison: use your own quote, mileage, contract term and electricity rates. Label estimates and compare the same period.
- Protect your details: crop addresses, number plates, VINs, account details, contact names and location history from screenshots.
Use the relevant publication’s help or contact route. EVHubUK’s general form can route a network question, but it is not a live diagnostic or emergency service. For an urgent vehicle safety concern, use the vehicle’s official assistance or emergency route as appropriate.
03 / KNOW WHAT APPLIES
Useful experience.
Visible boundaries.
“Another owner says it works.”
Treat that as a lead to investigate. Check the UK model, trim, software version and conditions before assuming the same steps apply. An overseas screenshot can explain an idea without proving the feature exists on your UK car.
“The page and my car disagree.”
Check the page’s review date and model scope, then your vehicle’s current official manual or manufacturer information. Record the difference rather than forcing an unrelated procedure to fit.
“Is this recommendation paid for?”
Look for the advertising or affiliate label and read the destination carefully. A paid placement is not manufacturer approval or an editorial endorsement. Read our advertising standards for how the network separates these roles.
04 / CLOSE THE LOOP
Help us fix the
specific thing.
A useful correction includes the publication and exact page URL, the wording that needs checking, the UK model or offer it concerns, and a current source or a description of what you observed. Explain what changed; do not send vehicle credentials, private group screenshots or payment details.
Owner experience helps identify questions. It does not automatically establish a procedure for every car. Commercial relationships do not receive priority over factual accuracy.
