Clear disclosure
Labels must be noticeable before or at the point a visitor encounters commercial material.
Advertising standards
These principles apply across EVHubUK, MyBYD, MyXPENG, MyMGEV, EVDeal and any future publication joining the network.
Effective 16 August 2026The standard
Labels must be noticeable before or at the point a visitor encounters commercial material.
Payment cannot purchase a favourable conclusion, approval of editorial copy or suppression of legitimate criticism.
Advertisers, destinations, claims and creative variants are reviewed before scheduling.
No advertiser-supplied scripts, forced downloads, deceptive controls, flashing hazards or disguised system notices.
Placement recommendations consider the subject and visitor intent. Commercial relevance never changes editorial ranking.
Advertisers may correct factual information about their own business or product, but they do not control independent conclusions. Sponsored articles, if introduced, will use a separate workflow and clear labelling.
Claims must be lawful, substantiated and appropriate for a UK audience. EVHubUK may reject misleading environmental claims, unsafe driving messages, counterfeit goods, malware, discriminatory material, regulated products without suitable evidence, or destinations that materially differ from the approved preview.
The planned platform uses aggregate delivery reporting and does not permit advertisers to inject third-party tracking code. Any future measurement expansion will require privacy review and updated notices.
EVHubUK may pause or remove a campaign if the destination, claims, legal position or user experience changes. A refund or credit, where applicable, follows the advertiser agreement rather than overriding safety decisions.
